As I have been considering how to best utilize this blog, it has occurred to me that pictures of my friends (and me) in Mexico would be a very useful thing to be able to post. Unfortunately, I did not have a camera, as I have never been fascinated by my own photography. As I began to look for a camera, I was slightly dismayed at the price of even a used camera, and overwhelmed by the excessive size of the pictures that new cameras would be taking.
This weekend, however, my friend got a new camera, and GAVE me his old one. It's tiny, takes little pictures, runs on AA batteries, and is pretty much perfect. Praise God for his timely and fitting provision! Also, another, unrelated friend had a leftover memory stick that he didn't need and was exceedingly generous in giving it to me. I'm feeling rather blessed to be taking and posting pictures with my new camera.
