caffeinated

Today I went with a couple teammates and sat down with two girls and a guy from one of the more prestigious universities in Mexico City. We immediately started talking about "what are your visions for the university, the city, and the world?" One of the girls sortof interrupted us to say "you know, I'm not really here because I want to change the world, I'm here because I've lost my faith, and I want to love God again."
Man. Sometimes we need a reminder that It's God at work, not us, and that if we don't serve him out of love, we're just wasting breath and time.
Pray that we would point students toward our mighty God who loves us with an undying love. Pray that we would love him with our whole beings.
Oh, and, it struck me as we were talking - we were drinking coffee. I think I have had more gospel conversations over coffee than anything else. I really like coffee.

oh i might have you beat on the coffee drinking. Greeks survive on coffee and cigarettes alone. I had a "frappe" the other day at 2:30pm and was shaking until I went to sleep at midnight..gotta love caffeine.
