deep

Well, I haven't done any reading. I have spent some great time in conversation with my various leaders, listened to some great old stories from (reeeeeaaaly) long term international missionaries, and eaten way too much food on "business expense."
Rest is good, and we have been investing a lot of time and energy discovering who we are personally and as a team - as it turns out, I'm very different than much of my team on a whole host of personality traits. Tim, my roommate and leader, is pretty much my opposite in every way except that I can be introverted from time to time (he's introverted all the time).
Mike (regional director red river region) and I had a really good conversation about money and decisions and how to think about the difference between my position and my friends' positions. He has a lot of wisdom from having served in where he has lots of money, very little money, and good relationships with "nationals."
Pray that we'll come away from Acapulco knowing each other better, more willing to love each other, and ready to squeeze every bit out of these coming six weeks.
