December 1st was ... slow. Today was a "pioneering" day, but Mindy and I had a follow-up appointment with some girls we met last week, so we decided to go pay rent and mess with our database software a little before the meeting instead of racing across town to spend half an hour on a campus (if we could find it in time) to have to race back for the appointment.
Turns out, only one of the girls showed (and she had a final, so she couldn't meet) and we ended up just sitting around a table talking to whoever sat down about spiritual stuff and church and God and, once or twice, the whole gospel.
So it was a pretty cool day, but not exactly what we planned on. Go figure.
We topped the whole thing off by having a Christmas party where we ate sugar and watched Elf. Not a good idea on a work night (eating sugar and watching Elf may never be a great idea, but it's especially not a good one on a work night ... for me).
