tired

It's Monday and I'm tired.
I spent the last week cranking out details for summer project, and I feel like it paid off. But I'm exhausted.
I made the mistake of cooking pancakes for friends after church (instead of disappearing in the park for the afternoon) and going to a birthday party instead of going to bed. Both were really fun, and fellowship is always good, but right now I'm lacking quiet and rest.
I also haven't talked to a stranger in like a week - I'm starting to feel like a "director" instead of a "missionary." No good. Computers don't need Jesus.
Everyone on my team is thinking about plans for next year ... which makes me increasingly thankful that I get to go back to Texas A&M University. I really, really don't think I'm ready to grow up.

Thanks Brent and Mary and Mom and Charis and Kyle for your encouragement. It's been a rough week, and you guys rock.

Oh but the Lord IS growing you up in Him, we can see it! What a wonderful thing that we get to come to Him as a little child and that He wants us to rest in His care at His feet. You are running a good race; I will be praying for rest between the sprints.
