I joined a men's bible study that started up today in my (Mexican) church. I'm really glad God has given me as much Spanish as he has.
One of the other guys in the study is from Tepito, one of the roughest parts of the city. We rode back on the metro together for a while, and we've pretty much grown up in opposite environments. Bible study is going to be fun. And challenging (it's at night and in Spanish), but at least we'll be using religious vocab and talking about the basics of the faith; some subjects are easier for me to follow than others.
The Tec crowd is coming to Acapulco. Very cool.
Please pray it'll be good, that God will move, and that I'll get to spend some time with students.
