Sunday, May 10

brotherly

Church this morning was one of the craziest things I've been a part of to date. All the chairs were spaced out so that you couldn't sit next to anyone, and everyone was asked to wear face masks (the kind the dental hygienist wears) for fear that we might spread the swine flu.
However, to protect the band, only one guy with a guitar sang, which is my favorite way to have worship lead from a stage. He sang some songs that really ministered to my soul.
I spent the afternoon cleaning up our guest bathroom, where the plaster fell from the ceiling due to a leak somewhere above us. Plaster is nasty.
And then this evening Joram and I watched episode 6 of "Band of Brothers" (Andrew Segovia, I feel like I'm betraying you).
Sunday was restful. Please ask God to continue to give me good ways to connect with my roommates, relate to my teammates, and serve him in this city.

I feel you there. I have had some happenings with my roommates lately that have led to interesting conversations. Look to love, bro.
