Oh wow! Thanks to my dad, I got out of bed and to the airport on time for my flight to Denver, CO. The flight was uneventful, uncomfortable, and much like I've always imagined and early morning, in-country flight would be. I sat next to an HR guy from a big oil services company and got to learn a little about the hassles of moving employees around the world. International school is expensive.
I hit DIA early, so I got to sit around and talk to a few fellow STINTers headed to "East Asia," Venezuela, the Middle East, and New Zealand while we waited for the bus to come pick us up and ship us to Copper Mountain for the training conference.
I got to meet my team tonight - they're reall cool. One of us is stuck in New Orleans with a stomach bug, and another is already in Mexico City, but so far we're all eager (and a little nervous) to be living in Mexico in just a few days.
