expectant

But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me.
Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy.
Thought I fall I will rise;
Thought I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me.
I will bear the indignation of the Lord
Because I have sinned against him,
Until he pleads my case and executes justice for me.
He will bring me out to the light,
And I will see his righteousness.
Then my enemy will see,
And shame will cover her who said to me,
"Where is the Lord you God?"
My eyes will look on her;
At that time she will be trampled down
Like mire of the streets.

Praise God who draws us out of sin and back to himself. For,
"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare his own son, but delivered him over for us all, how will he not also with him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is he who died, yes rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ?"
