Today I'm back in College Station - the last weekend for a long time. Good stuff. Eating at some of my favorite places, seeing some friends ... unfortunately not all of them.
I talked to Tim, my future roommate, and it's a little weird to be right on the verge of a year-long commitment away from everyone. I'm excited, but more than a little nervous. Five days till I head to CO for training. Packing. Thinking through last minute stuff like whether or not to take shampoo. Saying "goodbye for now" to a lot of people. Wondering whether a year away is going to change stuff.
I'm really looking forward to living with Tim. To working with a team, learning a language, and challenging people to live a life devoted to Jesus Christ. I'm excited to learn from Craig and Joe, to getting a fresh start at following leadership. Thanks for your prayer.

Pray that God would use us to enable Mexican college students to 1) center their lives around the gospel and 2) raise up the next generation of Mexicans to be laborers for the gospel.
