Today was the third day of UNAM and Tec retreat. We thought it was going to be the last, but found out this morning that it lasts 'till Monday. Which is cool and fun, and I'm glad I brought an extra pair of underwear.
Worship at camp has been really strange. We head into a chapel, turn off the lights, and sing the same song over and over for about half an hour. People crying, praying in tongues, and shouting, all the while we're singing the same fifteen words. I've never actually experienced "charismatic" church, but this is the way I've always imagined it. Regardless, when the worship leader preaches, he preaches truth as best I can tell. So it's a little weird trying to relate and fit in and adjust.
The food at camp is amazing. Don't eat the lettuce unless you're a Mexican (a real Mexican).
