So, believe it or not, sex is more liberally used in advertising here in Mexico than it is in the US - or so it seems. Also interestingly, most of the people that are portrayed as sexy are significantly more Caucasian than the average Mexican Citizen.
So three things:
Be praying that the girls on our team (who look a whole heck of a lot more like the girls on billboards than girls on the street) would deal well with the stares and excessive attention they receive from passersby.
Please pray that we would know how to interact with and challenge Mexican men to follow Jesus Christ in the context of an openly sensual public arena.
And please pray that we (the less feminine members of our team) would keep our eyes on the goal, and not on the advertising.

I miss you! Hope everything is well, team unity is maxed out, spanish is coming along great, and that you are not sitting on the toilet right now b/c of some bad tacos. I do enjoy reading your updates, and I will be praying for you. By the way, the academy is going great.
Sensuality is a war zone in every culture. Sounds like U.S. high school.
