Passion World Tour, Mexico City. Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Louis Gigilo (Jigglio, Wigglioo?). Big names, lots of lights, plenty of noise and a bunch of students. All in all, it was probably the largest gathering of college students ever in Mexico - at our best guess, about 6,ooo students showed.
So, being a college student ministry, we jumped in the thick in an attempt to recruit some willing leaders and con them into doing something radical for Jesus Christ on their campus. As a team, we volunteered, which meant anything from "security" (no, you can't come in here ... unless you ask nicely) to arranging sandwiches for other volunteers. We managed to get permission to pass out flyers to students (a LOT of flyers) and invite them to a follow-up meeting that will happen on October 11. Pray that students will show, that God will give them the daring and the faith to begin to pray for and share Jesus with their campuses.

Pray that God would use us to enable Mexican college students to 1) center their lives around the gospel and 2) raise up the next generation of Mexicans to be laborers for the gospel.
