Getting around town can be fun and exciting in Mexico City. People have all kinds of methods. Bicycles, roller blades, the Metro, buses, Metrobuses, volkwagens, and (somewhat rarely) smartcars. These things are tiny. They sound funny, too. (but then, the volkswagens sound like eighteen wheelers ... so funny is relative.)

So far, the Metro is my favorite. Complete with huge crowds, peddlers, and rats that snatch chip bags, I'm sure that if there's going to be a huge killer virus in the near future, it's going to start somewhere between Metro stops Tacubaya and Pantitlán. It'll probably be transmitted by people shoving each other onto or off of a crowded train.

another afternoon of Rock Band ... still feels funny. But I'm definitely getting to know some of the guys. Which stinkin' rocks.
