Went to a youth group tonight with my buddy Israel. The topic was sex before marriage and why not to have it. The guy had a lot of good stuff to say, but he only quoted scripture twice and never did read it. Weak sauce. "Don't have sex ... because sex is bad!"
Please pray that God will move his people here to open up his word and READ it. Pray that nobody will take their pastor's or their mother's advice without delving into scripture. And please pray that this generation of Mexicans will be so taken by God's love that they don't need a pastor to give them a list of reasons why not to sin - pray that their hearts will cease to be satisfied in sin because of the surpassing goodness of God's love.

On the way home we got stuck in traffic from a Madonna concert. I think I'd rather be in a youth group, even if the didn't use the bible much.
Yep, pretty sure on that one.
