So today was a little out of the blue.
It started with a parking garage attendant (on the way to the metro from my apartment) noticing that I had cut my hair. I had never even noticed that the guy existed, but today he was like "dude, you cut your hair!" I can do nothing but be reminded of how poorly I blend in here (or how insanely bored a parking garage attendant must get).
I proceeded to a university that we had the dry run at a week or so ago to see if I could catch some students while there was still class going on (attendance seems to be very much the same sort of "requirement" here as it is at A&M). On the way in, I prayed that God would lead me to someone who wanted to start a "movement" and you know what? The third group of people I talked to were like, "yeah, hang on, I'll call her."
So this girl comes and sits down with me and listens to my pitch and says, "we were just talking about needing to have a place to study the bible together, but were thinking 'we have no idea what we're doing.' " So God answered two prayers with one meeting - FAST. I think he's pretty cool.
Please pray that we would continue to have wisdom in mixing relational time with "pioneering" time. Please ask God to give us wisdom in what to do with our very limited relational time.

Cool, John! Its so exciting to see what God's doing in Mexico City ;] I was thinking/praying about/for (hmm..that's a complicated way to write that..) you today!
I pray you're encouraged in Christ this month, and rest in the pleasure He takes in your company
;]
'For You make me glad by Your deeds, O Lord;
I sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
How great are your works, O Lord!
How profound Your thoughts!'
