Frankly, "keeping sabbath" today has been one of the most difficult things I've done all week. I really want to work and get things done.
But. I know God doesn't need me to do his work, and that he's called me to remember that by resting.
Please pray I'd use my time well in work, and rest well in rest.
Also, sometimes when I feel like my walk with our God is dry and stale, he gives me gifts of music to lift my soul. Sometimes it's David Crowder, sometimes it's Tim Suel, but tonight it's my new Dutch roommate who has finally found a guitar and keeps singing God's praises to its music. Praise God for musicians!

Yeah! John! You are amazing! I so appreciate your honesty and consistency with the blogging. You are encouraging people both in Mexico and here among your friends! Way to multi-task and remain faithful!
I am praying for you, bro. Pray for me that I would trust God and work when I need to work and take Sunday seriously as a Sabbath day for myself. I want to honor God by trusting Him this way, but I have been highly unsuccessful thus far.
John, We miss you, it's been a week since we've heard anything. Killing us...
