excessive

The realization that I have time to read things that I want to read (as opposed to chemistry) has gotten to my head. I've collected more books than I can realistically read before I leave in a month.
Alex and I are reading Ecclesiastes this week, and in it the preacher says, "Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink and enjoy oneself in all one's labor in which he toils under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward." Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9 (I think) that he has forgone the enjoyment of this world in order that he may "offer the gospel without charge," and so obtain the prize set aside for him. In reading and lazing around my parents' place, I've had plenty of eating, drinking, and enjoying my 'labor' (mostly reading) - I'm starting to get antsy to "do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it."

I'm tired of reading chemistry. I may be on track for the 3.0 semester... I think I might be starting to realize the importance of the A's. None? yeah.
